I. Break Anchor / Unsinkable Molly Brown 7″s!

The delay holding pattern is over! The new 4 song split 7″ between Break Anchor and Unsinkable Molly Brown records and covers are all in hand and are shipping now! We have this on white vinyl and smokey clear blue vinyl! These records come with a download code too, but all the songs are streaming on our bandcamp page here (plus Jay’s 3 Pennywise audition demos) www.undercomm.bandcamp.comGrab a copy before they’re gone at www.undercomm.storenvy.com
II. Iron Chic “Not Like This”
– UnderComm Distro exclusive variant LP
We’ve received our copies of the special pressing of Iron Chic’s “Not Like This” LP from Dead Broke Records on clear orange/gold vinyl a few weeks ago. This is the first time we’ve ever done an exclusive color for another labels release which is pretty rad that Mike over at Dead Broke let us do this! NLT is easily one of my favorite records from the past 10 years; I’m so unbelievably stoked to get to be a part of it. If you’re not familiar with the band, they’re a melodic, anthemic punk rock band from Long Island, NY. The band shares/features ex members of: Small Arms Dealer, Latterman, Capital & Jonesin’. Our color is limited to 100 copies and is from the 5th pressing of the album.Get one while they last at (ONE PER PERSON, PLEASE): www.undercomm.storenvy.com
III. Other recent releases
The split 7″ with Vacation Bible School and Pity Party

The always lovable Chicagoland heros Vacation Bible School give us 2 new awesome songs, their first release since the amazing Ruined the Scene LP we put out; and our newest favoritest New York/New Jersey’s new band: Pity Party(ex the Measure (sa)). We will have a color vinyl pressing of this record in a few weeks too…as all the Fest copies were test presses. We are just waiting on the printed covers to arrive, but the actual 7″s are in-hand.
the Fest Friends! compilation LP
With unreleased songs from Franz Nicolay, the
Brokedowns, Horace Pinker, Pity Party & Ensign…along with 2 comedy bits from the Standup Mixtape series, from James Fritz and Goodrich Gevaart. All of these bands/comic performed at the Fest this year. We hope to make one of these every year and showcase some of our friends that we’re super proud of! We only made 300 of these comps too, get one while you can because we’ll never repress this one.
These are still in stock in the UCR Store HERE.
You can stream both of these releases at our bandcamp page HERE.
IV. Standup Mixtape series on break
We posted the last episode of season one of Standup Mixtape a few weeks back, the great Sean Flannery was our featured comic, who is one of Chicago’s finest comedians! We were thrilled to get him in for a session!!!
We’ll be taking a break for a while though – All 11 episodes will remain up for free in the iTunes store and the SMT libsyn page. We accomplished a lot with this season and got the word out to a STAGGERING amount of people across 49 of the 50 US States (damn you, Alaska!) & even 59 countries around the world (and counting)! That’s pretty exciting to both of us! Since you won’t be getting your bi-monthly Cameron Esposito fix – please try to keep up with her! She’s one hard-working lady and deserves a hundred times the praise she gets. If you’re out in LA (or maybe even on tour somewhere), catch her if you can at: www.cameronesposito.com!
We will have the rest of the Standup Mixtape cassette releases out soon too!
Obviously we want you to try to keep up with all the individual featured comics if you can, and LIKE the SMT Facebook page as well!
V. Upcoming releases
1. Vacation Bible School / Pity Party split 7″ (color vinyl pressing)
2. Young Light LP
3. Easy Action / Snakewing split 7″
4. Some nerds may be coming back for revenge come January 1st. You’ve been warned.
Take care! -Justin!
